What was once an empty town lot in 2018 is now a thriving community destination.

 

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers and generous donations, the Star Valley Community Garden has become a place where neighbors grow, gather, and connect.

 

Along with cultivating fruits, vegetables, and flowers, many gardeners share their harvest with those in need, making the garden a source of both nourishment and community pride.

Community Garden Club Committee

The Community Garden Club is responsible for planning and managing the Council-sanctioned Community Garden.

For information regarding plot reservations for the 2027 gardening season, please contact Town Hall.

Plot reservations and fee payments will not be accepted before the official reservation period, which runs from January 2 through January 31, 2027.

Any garden plots that are not renewed by January 31, 2027, will become available on a first-come, first-served basis.

WATER DEPARTMENT

With the purchase of the water company from Brooke’s Utilities, the Town of Star Valley turns what was a “for profit” private water company into a public owned utility.

Overseeing the Town of Star Valley’s operations, the Finance Department works with Town staff and The Council to allocate, disburse, and collect funds.

Water Department
With the purchase of the water company from Brooke’s Utilities, the Town of Star Valley turns what was a “for profit” private water company into a public owned utility. What was once “profits” for a private water company becomes money that is put back into your water company. This will improve the infrastructure of the water company and provide a more reliable water supply to customers. The acquisition of the water company is a turning point for the Town of Star Valley. It is an important step. We are excited about the purchase and will be dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers and invest into an improved and more reliable water system. The compass is now set. Our vision is clear. With this purchase, we can now continue toward the goal of securing a sustainable water supply for future generations!
